Security Pleeze: Jacket Jackson gets personal with Gotham Magazine

January 2010

Janet Jackson covers Gotham Magazine

My future BFF Jan Jan Janet is on the cover of Gotham Magazine…doesn’t she look amazing? She speaks about what she’s taken from Michael’s death, resolutions, her new book, and love of New York.

Janet also discusses the new album:

“It’s going to be a little different. The writing is about new experiences. There’s a part of me that’s craving escapism, which is a sense of wanting to keep on moving with my work but also to coming to terms with reality. So I think it will be upbeat and light.”

Chris O’Donnell Gets Blessed with a Surprise Celebrity Baby Number Five!

Chris O'Donnell and Wife

Actor Chris O’Donnell expressed that he feels as if four children is enough after welcoming his fourth child with his wife Carolina Fentress.

“I always wanted five children,” Chris shared with Michigan Avenue Magazine. “But when we got four, I was like, okay, we’re done.”

The 39-year-old actor and his wife were surprised later when they found out that they were going to be having baby number five! Chris says:
“Five was the only time we were really surprised…All along the way we were strategic about what we were doing and then, uh, a little miscommunication there.”

However Chris O’Donnell is still a proud father for all of his children including Maeve Frances, age 2, “We’ve got five and we couldn’t be happier because [she] is such a cute little girl,” he says.

The couple have been married since 1997. Their other four kids are Lily Anne, age 10, Christopher ‘Chip’ Eugene, age 9, Charles McHugh, age 6 1/2, and Finley, age 3 1/2. There are some good celebrity baby names in there…

Congrats!

Janet Jackson Is Making A Comeback

Janet Jackson is looking fabulous on the cover of Gotham magazine's latest issue.

In the article Jackson mentioned her book, which she had written in hopes of helping others who have similiar issues.

“I hope it’s inspiring for all ages. I’m talking about weight loss, confidence, self-esteem – especially in your youth. It’s not an autobiography, but there are little anecdotes that I give here and there from my childhood all the way to the present that I thought would be interesting and helpful to share.”

She also talked about Michael Jackson's death:

“When you hear people say life goes on, it’s really the truth. You can’t stop living. It becomes a part of you. I feel a bit selfish because there are times I feel I shouldn’t be doing this, but I enjoy my work and I have to keep doing it. I have to keep my life going. There are days that are harder than others.”

Besides a wonderful interview, the star shows off her new bod in several photos in the mag.
